Due to the current heat wave, the City of Peekskill will be activating its cooling center policy starting Monday, July 15th through possibly Wednesday as we will continue to monitor. The Neighborhood Center dining room will be open from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm today through Wednesday with free WiFi for anyone seeking an air-conditioned environment. The library will be open during normal hours, and the City Office of Emergency Management will be checking that the senior apartment building managers are also taking appropriate measures.
