The City of Peekskill will be activating its cooling center policy on Wednesday, August 28th. The Neighborhood Center dining room will be open from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm with free WiFi for anyone seeking an air-conditioned environment. The library will be open during normal hours, and the City Office of Emergency Management will be checking that the senior apartment building managers are also taking appropriate measures.
