WINTER PARKING NOTICE
The Peekskill City Winter Parking Ordinance is in effect from December 1st through April 1st.
Parking is Prohibited on City streets from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. except in designated areas where signs are posted for Winter Alternate Side of the Street Parking. If signs are posted, follow the instructions that are listed on the sign. Vehicles in violation of this Ordinance may be issued a Parking Ticket with fines starting at $100.00. Fines will increase to $200.00 if a State of Emergency is declared. Vehicles may also be towed at the owner’s expense an\4ime a vehicle interferes with snow plowing and snow removal, etc. operations.
*If there is no posted winter-parking sign, then parking is not permitted at any time.
AVISO DE ESTACIONAMIENTO DE INVIERNO
La ordenanza municipal de estacionamiento invernal de Peekskill está vigente desde el 1 de diciembre hasta el 1 de abril.
Esta prohibido estacionar en las calles de la Ciudad de 8:00 pm hasta 8:00 am, excepto en las zonas donde hayan letreros puesto para el Estacionamiento Altenar del Invierno. Si hay letreros puesto, por favor siga las instrucciones que aparecen en el letrero. Vehiculos en violacion de esta Ordenanza se podran emitir un boleto de estacionamiento con multas hasta $100.00. Las muitas se incrementaran a $200.00 si ei estado de emergencia es declarado. Los vehiculos tambien pueden ser remolcados a costa del propietario si un vehiculo interfiere con el arado y/o la remocion de nieve, operaciones, etc.
*Si no hay ninguna señal que indique estacionamiento de invierno, entonces no está permitido estacionar en absoluto.
